The Georgia Bulldogs will be playing for their first National Title since 1980 on Monday. While Georgia has always been a dominant and recognizable team, this year they burst onto the scene with a strong running game and a killer defense ranked 6th in the nation this year. I don’t think this will be just a one season wonder, I think Georgia is here to stay. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer have some new competition, his name is Kirby Smart.
Not the strongest name for a head coach, Kirby has been the coach for a year and it seems that the Bulldogs are loving what he’s been preaching. They have some monsters on defense, an always strong running game, and a young southern gentlemen at the helm, Jake Fromm.
The star of go90’s Beyond the Lights, Fromm has impressed many with his play for a true freshmen against some A1 competition. He will only get better as he is still a freshman, and the system Kirby Smart is building in Georgia is about to become one of the great ones, and possibly even a dynasty because of these guys and the other guys that help build such a great system. So just wait, while Ohio State and Alabama will still reign, Georgia will be the next team everyone will hate.
